Community Outreach - Santa Ana College x The Pizza Press

I coordinated our participation in the Santa Ana College Job Fair, an event that brought together over 1300 participants including students, job seekers, employers, organizations, and volunteers. My responsibilities included planning our presence, ensuring we were prepared to serve attendees, and overseeing all day of logistics.

We distributed 600 lunch tickets and every single slice of our pizza was enjoyed. Beyond the food, my goal was to create a welcoming and engaging experience that reflected our commitment to the community.

19 community organizations with 40 representatives
11 campus departments with 20 representatives
461 Santa Ana College students checked in
457 community job seekers
123 SAUSD students participated
Around 60 staff and volunteers supported the event
This project was about more than serving lunch. It was about fostering connections, supporting career growth, and creating a positive environment where people could build, connect, and grow. Coordinating an event with this level of participation reaffirmed my dedication to serving with intention and making a meaningful community impact.
